ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE UDOM JUNIOR ACADEMIC STAFF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION The Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic Research and Consultancy, through the Directorate of Research and Publications, Innovation, Consultancy and Institutional Collaboration (DRP, CIC) is pleased to announce some modification to the March 2019 JAS submission.All Junior Academic staff who have prepared proposals for possible submission are invited to apply for to the principal through the College Research and Publication Coordinator to participate in a workshop organized by the DRP, CIC for the JAS on 8th March, 2019. UDOM: Humanities Scholarships for the undergraduate students | Deadline 15th January 2019

The University of Dodoma (UDOM) wishes to announce the University of Dodoma Humanities Scholarships for the undergraduate students admitted in the School of Humanities at UDOM in the 2018/2019 academic year. 1.0 INTRODUCTION The University of Dodoma Humanities scholarship aims to support the needy students who have been selected to join degree programmes in the school of Humanities but who have not been able to secure sponsorship from the Higher Education Students Loan Board (HESLB or any other sponsors. The University of Dodoma will not require beneficiaries to repay the money at the end of the scholarship period. 2.0 TYPE OF SCHOLARSHIP Students who are nominated for this scholarship will pay only 60% of the tuition fee and the remaining 40% will be paid by the University of Dodoma. Once a student secures the Humanities Scholarship, he/she will continue to be a beneficiary for the duration of three years of studies in the admitted degree programmes. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STUDENTS SEEKING FOR TRANSFER FROM FIVE UNIVERSITIES TO THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA (UDOM)

The University of Dodoma (UDOM) wishes to inform the general public that, the arrangements leading to registration of all students who were directed by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) to transfer their credits to UDOM have been completed. The students in question include those from Josiah Kibira University College (JoKUCO), Mount Meru University (MMU), Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University (SEKOMU), International Medical and Technological University (IMTU) and Jomo Kenyata University in Arusha Tanzania (JKUAT). All concerned students are informed that, the registration process will be done from 1st to 2nd December, 2018. After registration, all registered students will be allowed to proceed with studies as from Monday 3rd December, 2018. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STUDENTS SEEKING FOR TRANSFER FROM JOSIAH KIBIRA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE (JoKUCO) and  MOUNT MERU UNIVERSITY (MMU) TO THE UNIVERSITY OF  DODOMA (UDOM)  The University of Dodoma (UDOM) wishes to inform the general public that UDOM in consultation with the Tanzania Commission for Universities ( TCU ) is finalizing processing of the transfer of students from JoKUCO and MMU. Meanwhile, all students involved in this transfer are informed that they are required to report at UDOM on Saturday 1st December, 2018 for registration into their respective programmes. The specific conditions for registration will be communicated at a later date after TCU’s approval of the same. Overall, UDOM will consider transfer of the concerned students on a case- by-case basis. Every student will be issued with an admission letter where specific conditions for transfer will be stated explicitly.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY TUITION FEES AND DIRECT COSTS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018/2019 BY 25 TH  OCTOBER, 2018, IN ORDER TO SMOOTHEN REGISTRATION PROCESS. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BEFORE STUDENTS REPORT TO THE UNIVERSITY. CONTINUING STUDENTS  WITH OUTSTANDING BALANCE ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THEIR DUES APART FROM THE 2018/2019 FEE. STUDENTS SHOULD COME WITH THEIR BANK DEPOSIT SLIPS ON REPORTING.
